My name is Pranay Sharma, a crypto native with an extensive seven-year engagement in blockchain technology. I am the founder of IndianStreetBets, a thriving trading community that proudly commands a following of 400,000 across Reddit and Discord. In 2020, I embarked on a significant new chapter by joining LBank Exchange as their inaugural hire for the South Asia Region. In my capacity as Growth Lead, I played a pivotal role in broadening their market presence, successfully launching operations in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Turkey, and Ghana. My efforts were instrumental in elevating LBank Exchange to the 8th position among the best exchanges, as ranked by CoinMarketCap. My responsibilities were multifaceted, encompassing the exploration of new regions, orchestrating marketing campaigns (including token airdrops), enhancing user acquisition, boosting trading volumes, and overseeing token listings. The token listings process involved close collaboration with liquidity providers, market makers, and the marketing team. Over the years, I have cultivated an extensive network of tokens and projects within this sphere. In December 2023, I transitioned to EXOLO, another centralized exchange (CEX), where my contributions have been crucial in selecting strategic expansion regions, assembling and mentoring teams, and refining operational efficiencies. My journey in the crypto space has been marked by a growing desire to transition from centralized exchanges (CEXs) and centralized finance (CeFi) to the innovative realm of decentralized finance (DeFi). In the context of real- world assets (RWAs), I have established connections with a multitude of projects and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) that are at the forefront of tokenizing a diverse array of assets, including real estate, art, mines, and wines. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of speaking at over 100 events, dedicated to spreading awareness about the transformative potential of blockchain technology. My recent engagements include presenting at the WOW Summit in Hong Kong at the end of March and delivering a keynote address on security and transparency at the TOKEN2049 event in Dubai. These experiences have not only allowed me to share my insights but also to continuously learn from the vibrant community that surrounds blockchain technology.
